Web Analysis & Cookies
On this website, AddThis, a web analysis service of the provider AddThis, Inc. collects and stores data from which user profiles are created using pseudonyms. These user profiles serve to analyse visitor behaviour and are evaluated for the improvement and demand-oriented design of our offer. Cookies can be used for this purpose. These are small text files that are stored locally on the computer of the site visitor and thus enable recognition when visiting our website again. The pseudonymised user profiles are not merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym without the express consent of the person concerned, which must be given separately. You can object to the collection and storage of data for the purpose of web analysis at any time with effect for the future by following the link http://addthis.com/privacy/opt-out#.UIQpIH-FZ10.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, in the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.
You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
In addition, this website uses technologies from Criteo GmbH and Google Inc. to collect and store information about the surfing behavior of website visitors for marketing purposes in anonymous form. This data is stored on your computer using so-called cookie text files (for "cookies" see also below). The stored surfing behaviour is analysed using an algorithm, so that targeted product recommendations in the form of advertising banners or advertisements on third-party websites (so-called publishers) can then be displayed. This data cannot be used to personally identify the website visitor. The collected data is only used to design or improve the offer according to the needs. It is not used for any other purpose or otherwise passed on to third parties. You can contradict this anonymous analysis of your surfing behaviour at any time by calling up the following deactivation links:

www.surfganic.com also uses technologies from Vertical Network, Mouseflow, New Relic, and DoubleClick Spotlight. Again, no personalized analysis is performed when using these tracking tools.
Creation of pseudonymous user profiles for web analysis
On this website, the web analysis tool New Relic, a web analysis service of the provider New Relic, collects and stores data, from which user profiles are created using pseudonyms. These user profiles are used to analyse visitor behaviour and are evaluated in order to improve and design our offer according to the needs of our customers. You can object to the collection and storage of data for the purpose of web analysis at any time with effect for the future. You will find the necessary information in the section "Scope of data collection" below.
Surfganic also uses cookies to store encrypted information about the content of your visit as well as data you have entered on your computer. These cookies can be called up on your next visit and enable the recognition of your browser and various Surfganic service functions. For example, if you register at Surfganic with your customer data, you can easily log in with your user ID and your personal password on future visits. The data stored in the cookie saves you from having to fill out the forms.
Beside the above mentioned providers there are other used techniques which save cookies. The technical basis corresponds to that already explained above.
You have the possibility to prevent cookies from being saved at any time by changing your browser settings so that cookies are either always rejected or you are notified and asked every time a cookie is to be saved. The help function of most web browsers explains how to change these settings. However, if you choose to disable cookies, this may affect the service provided by Surfganic. Use of Google Ads conversion tracking
Our website uses the online marketing program "Google Ads", including conversion tracking (evaluation of user actions). Google conversion tracking is a service operated by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; "Google").
If you click on adverts placed by Google, a cookie is placed on your computer for conversion tracking. These cookies have limited validity, do not contain any personal data and thus cannot be used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognise that you have clicked on the advert and were forwarded to this page. Every Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. It is therefore not possible to track cookies relating to the websites of Ads customers.
The information collected using the conversion cookie serves the purpose of producing conversion statistics. This function displays personalised, interest-related adverts from the Google display network to visitors to the website. Google Analytics uses cookies, which make it possible to analyse your use of the website.
The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. This application serves to analyse visitor behaviour and visitor interests.
Google uses cookies to analyse website use, forming the basis for producing interest-related adverts. Cookies allow for the recording of website visits as well as anonymised data on the use of the website. The personal data of website visitors is not saved. If you then visit another website in the Google display network you will then be shown adverts which are more likely to take previous areas of product and information interest into account.

Google has certified itself in accordance with the TADPF and has thus undertaken to comply with European data protection principles.

Plug-ins
Our website uses the Google Tag Manager from Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; "Google"). This application manages JavaScript tags and HTML tags which are used in particular to implement tracking and analysis tools. The data processing serves to facilitate the needs-based design and optimisation of our website. The Google Tag Manager itself neither stores cookies nor processes personal data. It does, however, enable the triggering of further tags which may collect and process personal data. You can find more detailed information on the terms and conditions of use and data protection at https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html
Our website uses social network plug-ins. The integration of social plug-ins and the data processing associated with this serves the purpose of optimising the advertising for our products.
The integration of social plug-ins involves a connection between your computer and the servers of the service provider of the social network which then instructs your web browser to display the plug-in on that web page, provided you have expressly consented to this. In this process, both your IP address as well as the information on which web pages you have visited will be transmitted to the provider’s servers. This happens regardless of whether you are registered with or logged into the social network. The information is transferred even if users are not registered or logged in. Should you be connected simultaneously with one or more of your social network accounts, the collected information may also be assigned to your corresponding profiles. When using the plug-in functions (e.g. by pressing the appropriate button), this information will also be assigned to your user account. You can therefore prevent this assignment by logging yourself out before visiting our website and before activating the button for your social media accounts.
The use of cookies or comparable technologies is carried out with your consent on the basis of Art. 25 para. 1 p. 1 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The processing of your personal data is carried out with your consent on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing carried out with your consent up to the withdrawal.
The following social networks are integrated in our website through social plug-ins. You can find more detailed information on the scope and purpose of collection and use of the data and your associated rights and options for protecting your privacy in the provider’s privacy policy via the link.
